EVENTS & REGISTRATION
This three-race series showcases some of the nicest locations around the Houston Area. From the Gateway Tri, on the shores of Kemah, along Galveston Bay, to the Bridgeland and Houston Triathlons in Cypress North Houston, we have selected some of the most pristine locations for triathlons around our great city. It is our hope that triathletes will come from all around to race the series and enjoy the uniqueness it brings to the triathlon scene in Houston. If you register for the series (all three races at once) you save money and finishing each one earns you points for the series. Points will be awarded based on finishing all the races in the series and your time/placing at each race. This year the first 100 registered (promotion is over) received Limited edition Custom Tri Tops/Shorts (valued at $120) curtsey of our generous title sponsor, Memorial Hermann. At the end of the 2010 Tri Texas Series (Houston Tri) those athletes finishing all three races will receive a commemorative item. Those top competitors will receive a special award for their efforts. Next to HEB and Blockbuster at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Dairy Ashford. All topics discussed. Bring your bike and shoes and all your gear for transition as we will be practicing faster transitions. We will also be leading a run in Terry Hershey Park afterwards.
Bear Creek Pioneers Park
Off Bear Creek Drive between Clay Road and Patterson Road. Meet at Pavilion #6 at 7:45am for checkin. We will start at 8am sharp. Bring you bike, bike shoes, shorts, helmet, and sunglasses. We will do a loop around the course. We will also be running the run course so bring your run shoes!
Fun Fair Positive Soccer Complex
Off Westhiemer (to the right if you’re heading west) Parkway just before the intersection at Fry Road. Meet in the small eastern most parking lot with the bathrooms at 7:45am for checkin. We will start at 8am sharp. We will address many aspects of the race and you will be lead you on the run loop but it’s your own choice to do the bike as it will be open to traffic and we will not lead a group ride.
